Para Gold (Paraquat Dichloride 24% SL) is toxic to numerous wide leaved (that is, dicotyledonous) weeds and grasses in fruit orchards (including citrus), plantation crops (bananas, tea, coffee, cocoa palms, coconut palms, oil palms, rubber, etc.), however not to wheat, maize or corn, grain, or rice, which are all individuals from the grass family (Poaceae), and in this manner monocotyledonous.
